This Is Why You Succeed
Grit

You don’t want to get out of bed when your alarm goes off at 5:50AM. You do it anyway.
You don’t want to drink that protein shake in that first 10 minutes. You do it anyway.
You’re tired and don’t want to sit there and meditate for 20 minutes. You do it anyway.
Your body is barely awake so you’d rather go back to sleep than start working out. You do it anyway.
You want to quit now leave out that final set, no one will know. You do it anyway.
You don’t want to prepare and cook that healthy breakfast because you know you can just have a pop-tart. You do it anyway.
You don’t think you have time to write that daily blog post you promised yourself you would write. You do it anyway.
You don’t want to attend that meeting that you know will be a waste of time. You do it anyway.
You really want one (several) of those donuts your colleague brought into the office because keeping to you your healthy diet can be challenging. You do it anyway.
You don’t want to continue working when you get home after work, but you know you have things you want to do. You do it anyway.
You’re too tired to contact the friends you want to stay in touch with. You do it anyway.
You don’t want to do a lot of the things you do every day, but you do them.
And that is why you succeed.
