I just attended the wedding of my stepdaugher and helped her mom host the rehearsal too. Expecting the worst and now divorced from her dad, I felt unsure of my place. I had a great experience of feeling appreciated as their co-mom. I am humbled by the power of love and time to change hearts. It was a great piece to read and feel again. I love my stepkids and feel so honored to be in their lives. It hasn’t always been an easy journey, but my life is much richer for having all of them in it.
