Enabling Social Media Security

I have the opinion that social media has no privacy filters, and unless it’s a direct message (and even then!) assume that what you write will be accessible to people you don’t want it to be.

We started using Avast for Business recently to manage all company devices (we’ve been impressed!). Tonight I came across their personal account with built-in Social Media Security; this is interesting (it was an aquisition of secure.me).

The tool will connect to your Facebook and show you everywhere you’ve used strong language, have unconfirmed photos tags, have given away your location, or have an odd app with posting permission. It’s nice.

What did you think?

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
