Beware of Wolves in Sheep’s Clothing: The Tale of A Progressive Professor Who Forgot To Hide Her…
Kayla Renee Parker

I fail to see how and why this had to degenerate to the level it did. But I also hope the term ‘professor’ here means lecturer only and not anyone who has earned higher academic recognition.

It beggars belief that a ‘professor’ would not rejoice in a well researched, well presented opinion even if such opinion is contrary to the accepted wisdom. What is academics supposed to be about, especially at university level? If such persons as your professor are accepted on faculty, I truly wonder if the degree ‘bestowed’ by such an institution is worth anything much. If a ‘professor’ is able to say he or she has taught for decades and no one had ever said he or she is wrong, then it can only be concluded that the professor never read anything but the set text that was required to earn the doubtful degree they have.

If you can afford it, move to a better school. If ‘professors’ feel that being questioned is an affront and they take it to the level to which it descended (I cannot wrap my mind around the last post you received; is common decency now illegal since the advent of Trump?), then your institution is not one of ‘higher learning’.
