Why is it hard for unicorns to be real, too?

It’s not a question of nice sentiments but rather pragmatism. Is there a specific reason why if they are so attached to their tribes they cannot simply return to the pre-Lawrence of Arabia era and live in their tribes? The ‘country’ was according to the post, created for the convenience of the then Western powers. Why must they remain together if the togetherness serves only as a pretext to practise genocide on whoever happens to have more guns and is a ready market for the Western arms industry? Why can they not simply split? Or decide on a ruler who can be fair to all, no matter his or her own ethnicity?
