Performing Poverty
The Kalahari Review

Thank you. My boyfriend decided to stand on his own two feet and moved from Lekki to Bariga. I visited him there once. I have never been able to go back. He said the expression on my face was the same as if the house suddenly sprouted wings and began to fly. It is real. It is harrowing and how to even begin to contribute to eradicate this type of poverty makes my head spin. I truly salute your courage.
