Chris, thanks for the response! Do you mean you’ve spent most of your career tracking/quantifying organizational risk? Do you have an intuition for which factor(s) are the most significant for quantifying the risk over time? I’ve done some modeling of a risk multiplier based on 1 divided by the number of personnel. It’s simple enough and I figure the size of the organization is usually (inversely) correlated to the risk. But are there other simple metrics that would be more accurate or more closely tied to actual risk?

In other words, how do we balance simplicity and accuracy in modeling risk?
