I came across an article that talks about gating your content. I thought it was interesting. You may want to learn more about it to see what jumps out at you that may help you decide whether to gate your content and why gating may or may not be the best option for you and your content goals.

What does it mean to gate your content?

‘Gating’ is a system that allows people to access your content for a fee you’ve set.

Gating may sound like a membership, but they’re different. A membership is a subscription people pay for monthly. However, gating allows someone to gain access through a key–likely through a special account. If you don’t have the key, you won’t be given access.
