KappaKey
Media Kit
Hey there! 👋
Twitch, the game streaming community, has taken the internet by storm with over 100+ million monthly visits, just behind Netflix, and YouTube in online video traffic. They have a set of emojis (called emotes), in which ‘Kappa’ is the most famous. Kappa is sent millions of times a day and has turned into a very popular meme used to express internet sarcasm.
Being Twitch users (more so addicts) ourselves, we love sharing emotes in chat. But we were sad to realize that there’s no way to send Twitch emotes outside of Twitch. We also saw that a lot of Twitch fans were asking for something like this on their phone.
So we decided to build it, and that’s how KappaKey was born! We made sure it had access to all 170+ available Twitch emotes, and the ability to access Twitch emotes from the streamers you’re subscribed to (via the Twitch API).
We hope you love KappaKey as much as we do. If you have any questions feel free to email me directly at rj@tinyhearts.com
Thanks,
— Robleh
P.S. This isn’t our first keyboard: we’ve made Next Keyboard (#2 overall app), Next Emoji Keyboard, and Kimunji.
P.P.S. We’re also bringing our custom stickers to iOS 10 sticker packs for iMessage — would be happy to get you on the beta!
