The Unfair Truth About How Creative People Really Succeed
Jeff Goins

You should be proud of yourself Jeff, this is an excellent article. And, as it contains information about one of my favourite writers, Hemingway, it gets extra points from me.

Some people never get any recognition or reward for their extraordinary creations; look at at the life of Franz Schubert. His short life was filled with connections, incredible music and passionate times, but he never made it to the wider circle of appreciation and influence in his life.

Not all creative people succeed in their lives, and not all should. I think I fit that statement well. History is the best measure of a persons worth. If people find your creations, like them, and want to promote them, then that’s how you succeed. Create something that speaks about you. People want other people’s stories, music and art.
