Those scenes you hated in ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ made total sense

Last year saw the release of the most divisive entry into the Star Wars franchise thus far. Much of the scorn poured on the film by fans centred on two early scenes which critics insist lack ‘scientific credibility’. But are these moments actually as implausible as it may seem?

Let’s look at two scenes which seem to have drawn the most ire. Firstly Leia’s ‘Mary Poppins’ float back into a ship she’s just been blown out of. Secondly, the act of the rebels ‘dropping bombs’ in space.
