In summer 2013, I traveled through eight national parks across the United States. Using vibrant colors and graphic textures, I designed prints to portray a portion of the awe and grandeur that these parks inspire in me. What follows are snapshots from a few of the National Parks, and what I gained from the adventure.

We pulled into the parking lot, in the pre-dawn light. Anna was asleep bundled in blankets in the front seat. I stepped out of the car, gathered my gear, some breakfast, and our camping chairs. With everything ready to go, I tapped on the window and woke up Anna. We locked the car and started the short hike out to the canyon’s edge.
