Stop Using OGG for Anything

Use MP3 and MP4 Instead

The MP3 patent license officially ended on April 23, 2017.

MP4 has been open since the beginning. Anything you use that can create an MP4 is very likely unencumbered with any licensing issues.

Save the worry, just use the industry leading formats.

By the way, .ogg had the very annoying property of being the same suffix for both video and audio. I find that ridiculously short-sighted on the part of those who released the format in the first place.
