Why STEM learning is important? Part-1
In a recent conversation with one of the school’s correspondent about coding and robotics for school’s she mentioned the following sentence
“In our times we were learning coding only in degree!!! I am clueless why this is being introduced to students in school, I would like to add this only to provide a competitive edge to my school else I don’t believe in teaching them this at such a young age”
Working with various institutions and seeing the transformation in education and meeting several institution heads over past 8 years I strongly believe
Institutional leaders must and should understand the need of the hour with rapid change in technology if one of the institution head takes a call on not educating the students with current trends in technology the entire batch of students from their school will be left behind in understanding the know-hows about technology, which can also cause them to lose their confidence.
Hope this reach to as many people as possible and this serves as a motivation to inculcate STEM education in their curriculum for better tomorrow for both nation and the student’s
Is the book knowledge which is theoretical enough ? will that give a better understanding to students about concepts or does a practical way of teaching them the working gives them a better way of understanding the same theoretical subject? this is a question to ponder over for the day..
Stay tuned for more such questions from a education institute called Robomations trying to bring change by clubbing traditional and modern teaching to students.
