The MIT Graduate Program

Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) is one of the most well-known Secondary Education institutions for Engineering in the world. They receive an average of 24,000 graduate applications per year, with only around 2,000 people actually entering the program (that’s about 8.3%).

MIT offers Graduate programs in many areas, one of which is System Design & Management (MITsdm). The MITsdm program is meant to prepare “mid-career” professionals to become technical leaders in their industry by improving their systems thinking and management skills. The program “advanced engineering and management principles, methods, and tools to address the world’s most daunting challenges.”

I applied to the MITsdm Graduate Certificate Program, which is a three-semester, “career-compatible”…
