Introduction

This blog is the final article in my three-part blog chronicling the my experience in the ChiPy Mentorship program as I develop the Sano Seat app. In my first post I focused on my background and why I am passionate about developing this program. In my second post I explained the technical structure and interactions in a Django app. This month I focused on testing and deployment in order to have a live working app. I’ll review my steps as I progressed this month.

This blog is Part 2 in my three-part blog chronicling the my experience in the ChiPy Mentorship program as I develop the Sano Seat app. In my last post I focused on my background and why I am passionate about developing this program. In this post, I will focus on my technical learning and progression. For reference, individuals with mobility limitations can develop painful and potentially deadly pressure ulcers after remaining in one position for too long. My new goal was no easy task given I have been in a rigorous Data Science Program at Northwestern, am currently immersed in an exciting IoT Development Project with Sigfox’s Hacking House and also balancing a full time job. As of today, I am at 40 books and want to take a moment to slow down, reflect on what I have learned, share my experience and describe my favorites.

I thought it would be worse. I didn’t consider myself an…
