“Our Local Summer”
Living at the Jersey shore is something you can’t possibly imagine. We consist of a bunch of small/quaint towns that make up one amazing shore community. Between the beaches, the parks and the boardwalks people love to visit here.. And don’t even get me started on the night life!! Every year from Memorial Day to Labor Day we have to share our little slice of heaven and play nice with others lol! So when the day after Labor Day comes it’s what we call “Our local summer”.. It’s when us locals can take a breath, relax and enjoy our view once again.
This was taken in Belmar, New Jersey. I don’t know about you, but to me this view never gets old… And so “us locals” treasure it and try not to take it for granted..
This is the bay side and when ever there is lots of wind, you”ll be sure to see a few of these guys flying through the air… I stumbled upon them when I was taking a drive down on Sandy Hook the other day..
While I was watching this wind surfer get carried by the wind through the bay , I happen to notice a father and son looking for something for quite a while. Well it turns out they were looking for sand crabs and boy did they find them, an entire bucket full at that..
Thank you for taking the time to read my little blurb about “Our Local Summer” at The Jersey Shore and letting me share some of “us” with “you”…
