I did not call you a liar, but simply pointed out that the claim is a lie. It’s not even your claim, but something a very small group of people is spreading to justify their actions and convince people their intentions are good. Judging by your reply I believe that you actually believe this claim, so there’s absolutely no grounds to call you, personally, a liar.

If you go through discussions on the B2X mailing lists and chat logs it’s obvious that NYA was never about keeping the community together, but about “firing core” — their own words! — and taking control of Bitcoin development from the community.

I regret not keeping a list of links that point to the most relevant parts of B2X discussions, but I recommend looking it up, most powerful opinion making stuff you can read.
