It was only 8 short weeks ago that I found myself engaged in fights on Twitter over the then named Corona Virus.

People were posting that it would never come to their own country, and anyone who contracted the virus in Singapore would die, along with the fact (which is far from one) that it is a third world country with a third world medical system to match, and of course that Singapore was right next to China so it was obviously doomed (please note that it is 3,500kms away or 2,174 miles). …

Sweaty workouts are exhilarating and rewarding but dealing with the aftermath of all that perspiration is nowhere as fun. Smelling bad after a workout isn’t even the biggest concern for those of us who have to deal with itchiness and flakes on our heads. All athletes know that training never promises to be a smooth-sailing path. Regardless of how long you have been in the game, there might be days when you feel unproductive or that you simply cannot improve and realise your potential. There might even be times where you hit the gym simply to “go through the motions”, instead of doing so purposefully. Perhaps you have been in such situations before or perhaps you are facing it now. Regardless of where you’re currently at in your training journey, there’s always something to be learnt and applied. …
