Most of the time, I'm fighting for my life. I mean I'm a medical student. So, during the day I'm zoning out on boring lectures, and at night I'm wishing I didn't.
After that, I tell people I'm a digital artist. I say 'tell' because I ghost my account for months but beg people to ask for a commission even though I take a month or more to finish a piece. Then, I write. I write for presses and I write here. I always hate the starting process and I often shy away from covering events or just thinking about an article. But, that's the process: it turns out to be rewarding and the results do tend to shock you.
If you can already tell, I s̶p̶e̶a̶k̶ learn Korean (the intro said "Hello!"). I try to learn Arabic too and I don't even speak my mother tongue (Yoruba) well. English is complicated enough so I'm just a blob of half-baked literary skills of unrelated languages. I've even tried learning Turkish, Spanish, Hausa, Man...
I do sports, even though I'm the laziest couch potato ever. I say I play Basketball and take cool pictures but I'm literally just a cute hijabi in Jordans. I can totally make a 3-pointer though. I play Table Tennis, did a bit of Taekwondo, find volleyball fun, and when I'm lazy I play Scrabble. I only play Chess against my computer please.
What more? I'm a crazy cat lady, and if my mother would let me I'd take in more to our two cats and probably kick my brother out to give room for them. Then I'd binge-watch K-dramas or anime with them, while eating cat food.
I love purple, flowers, and chocolates, and sometimes I read books, but I give priority to my movie list.
I don't think I'm exceptional in any of the things I do, but I love doing them all I can't not. So I just struggle to juggle and curse at my schedule but I'll still end up watching another episode of The Penthouse.
While doing all this though, I'm a Muslim, unapologetically. So welcome to my blog. I'll start with Bismillah.
