Nicely put. We are very reluctant to lend credence to the idea of Universal Emptiness, or the Anima Mundi, as you’ve described with the table analogy. It’s hard I believe because it’s not something that can really be grasped by the intellect alone, but requires a more visceral, holistic connection to be fully realized. I struggle with maintaining that level of connectedness, but I know the struggle itself is a natural byproduct of the connection — IS the connection. Your piece gave me a much-needed boost. Thank you.
