Actually, I do follow a lot of restaurants and bars on Facebook and highly rely on it’s info about…

Of course it works, they’re not a billion dollar company with 1.5 billion users without by building shitty products and services. Information is reliable and findable. But:

  • The communication always happen by you looking for them in order to find their menu, their location and open hours.
  • It works, but as I said: it doesn’t grow.
  • Yes, you can follow them, but you are a consumer. It doesn't work for businesses the same way. And, if you think about it, they’re the ones that are actually paying for the service.

What I’m specially saying is that businesses and organizations shouldn’t put full energy on sending people to Facebook. Specially those that doesn’t put other information like e-mail, phone, company web site, etc.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
