Teach Players To Take Risks

Josh good read… agree with a lot of this. I think also some players are reluctant to change their techniques because they have been told by all their “coaches” and parents through the years what is the “right” and “wrong” way to play the game… it makes it tough for them to decipher all this info! Another point I’d like to discuss is how some coaches have a poor approach at transferring information into learning…just like a good hitter having a good approach in a certain teaching situation will make your point much more effective for the player…and agree big key is making players accept failure and understand that failure in baseball is truly the building blocks to success!
