Earlier this year, we began investigating the lasting impact of the #MeToo movement in the workplace. Against the backdrop of increasing employee walkouts, media leaks, and litigation, we were particularly interested in the opportunity for software to serve as a pressure release valve for tensions within an organization and, more broadly, to help manage the evolving demands of corporate social responsibility.

AllVoices, an LA-based software company founded by Claire Schmidt and Sean Rad, surfaced in our research as a modern answer to these challenges. Not only does the company offer a complete solution for misconduct reporting and resolution, it also enables companies to listen to and engage with their employees in a welcoming and responsible way. This is all wrapped in a world class user experience resulting in much more than the sum of its parts.

I believe AllVoices is leading the charge in an important, emerging category at the intersection of HR and Communications software (Employee Feedback Management Platform) and I couldn’t be more pleased to lead their Series A and join their board.
