Why cyber warfare isn’t

Apparently, there were around 20,000 XP machines in use by the Metropolitan Police at the start of the year, all still under contract with Microsoft.

The NHS, on the other hand, have far more machines running XP and no contract with anyone, if media reports are reliable.

This isn’t cyber warfare, this is taking candy from children. It reminds me of the famous Word Perfect joke which ends “There’s only one thing that can be done. Put everything back in the box and return it.” Customer: “Is it that serious?” “No, it’s because you are too ******* stupid to own a computer”

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
