As a Trump sycophant, you’re still peddling unfounded positions as if they are rational.
The house is largely elected based on popular vote in the country (except for where districts are gerrymandered). The mood of the country is very against Trump (48% have decided they will not vote for him regardless, only 35% have decided they will vote for him regardless of the democratic candidate). I believe we’re pretty much guaranteed that the house will stay Democratic. Especially given that Trump isn’t going to change.
Regardless of all this, you still haven’t answered the question I proposed to you in my response to one of your other essays. What do you believe is the end-state of the of the whole Trump and Republican minority take over of the US?
By minority I mean:
1. Trump was elected with a minority of the vote.
2. The Senate is in power with a minority of the vote.
3. The Senate along with Trump are stacking the judicial system with many judges that a majority of the population disapproves of.
The next election has the potential of changing some of those. But it remains to be seen given that we have the electoral college and the Senate as the basis of the constitutional structure. How do you believe the majority of the population and states like CA, NY, IL, etc should react given that we are being forced into the will of the minority? Do you really believe that is sustainable? It smells very much like the reason the original founders moved against King George III.
Bottom line, you can join in the soft civil war that the US is currently in or you can use your intellect (which given your writing I believe you possess) that the Trump and Republican position is problematic to creating a stable US. Currently, the Republicans seem totally oblivious to this fact. To your defense, I believe the radical left is also oblivious to the fact that their positions don’t contributed to a stable US either.
