Not clear any more that cable cutting is the where the market is headed. I know that in my house, cable still is a better value than trying to create ala cart. As far as I can tell, the streaming industry is moving to a cable like perspective because the financials work better. Also, much of the content industry like news and sports doesn’t work that well on a streaming solution. I believe you’re overly optimistic about the demise of cable in favor of streaming. A hybrid approach is the best answer.
Bottom line is that the opportunity lies in solving the problem most consumers want. Not in creating a Chinese menu of streaming solutions. The first to do that elegantly will define the next generation of premium video consumption. It doesn’t exist yet.
