Oblivion Crisis/Optimistic Nihilism

We often think of ourselves as if we were somehow more evolved, but the truth is that we are still those afraid beings that try to protect their families from the dangers of the world...
Just think about in the far future sapiens will class us as "ancient" Not only that but our ancestors even thought that they were just a farmer and nothing special but look at what happened after years...humans are very innovative but it also takes a price
"Climate change"
"New diseases"
"Civil war"(maybe)
The people in the future would think they are poor but if it was in our time they would be the richest being in this world I would just imagine if life from other planets will be present, that is what we will all miss in our lifetime, congrats or no congrats to the future people if they will either find other lifeforms good, or aggressive...
We tend to think that we are highly intelligent and efficient. We think that out technology/society/ideas are far too complex for our ancestors to understand . I'll argue, that our ancestors were every bit as capable as we are, as complex as we are and all they were limited with was the technology of their day, just like it is for ours. So it is kinda misguided to think that ancient civilizations and their practices weren't as complex as us. I bet if we could bring someone from history and were to teach them our ways, they'd hardly have a problem.
We take much for granted in our modern age. Today, for example, lighting is an expected reality. Only when the electrical power goes down do we start looking for a backup plan to see at night. Certainly, the mid-nineteenth century was a much darker place than today. However, people of that era, too, looked for lighting alternatives to continue to work and play long after the sun set.
And talking about future…it’s Kind of sad when you realise you will never know what humanity will look like in the next 5000, 10000 or 20000 years....where we will have reached and what we will have found out there...maybe we will have made contact with advanced civilizations, perhaps exchanged knowledge for materials..... so many questions which only our future generations will know and be able do understand. Makes you think how short our life really is and what really matters in it. Be better and achieve what you want, you don’t have time.

And somehow It is amazing how all of this happened with us,the sapiens. Our conscience tends us to think beyond the horizon, fear of Oblivion bloom from the thought process and here we are … questioning our future while in midst of our serenity..We went from sticks and stones to iron and copper to being able to build AI. “We are the future, the past, and the present”
"We’re neither gods nor geniuses. We crawl around on the ground, making everything step by step."
