140 Characters. Enough ?

It frustrates me that I cannot find time to put my thoughts together. You can call me lazy and maybe a tad bit sloppy but that is the reality. There is another reason, ever since people resorted to reducing their opinions to less that 140 characters with hastags, my laziness has found another reason to not write. I am convinced that people do not like reading columns and articles or newspapers anymore (ask NYT or the Post). I feel like our opinions are so limited with a sentence or two that no wonder the entire World looks polarized. We need more writers and hence, I turned to Medium but will people read or should I resort to 140 characters or use Medium ?

Let me try to write the above paragraph in a tweet and see how did I fare :)

Can’t write, maybe I am lazy, or maybe its twitter. People don’t read Why? Ask The New York Times Washington Post #lazy #confused #twitter”

Finally after multiple edits, the above characters are 138 to be exact!

Now I am going to end this post and ask people to comment and tell me if my tweet really captures my thoughts or we as a society are not making time for our thoughts, and the thoughts of others ?
