The Role Models Podcast — Episode #2 — Kate Burson of Tesla, Inc.

Kate Burson of Tesla, Inc. is our guest in episode #2 of The Role Models Podcast.

Rather than pursuing a career as a professional tennis player, Kate Burson helped rewrite the constitution of the Republic of Georgia. As an Assistant Attorney General, Kate worked to help solve the largest financial fraud case in the history of the United States.

As Special Assistant for Energy Efficiency to the Governor of the state of New York, Andrew Cuomo, Kate led efforts to develop policies to drive more energy efficiency and as the Chief of Staff to the Chairman of Energy and Finance under the Governor of the state of New York and instrumental in driving the implementation of the state’s energy policy.

Today, Kate leads the North East market development for Tesla Energy. Kate and I discuss her story and her many learnings of a career in the public — and now — private sector.
