Ha. Yes, the thumbnails are cool.

There are limitations on the number of items, indeed. In particular, if the list becomes too long the scripts start timing out. The solution is to split into several sheets and, yes, the code hasn’t been made to support that I believe.

As for the bad handling of sold items, that’s unfortunately a limitation of the discogs API: https://www.discogs.com/forum/thread/754214

The CSV import/export approach is a great alternative workflow for sure. What I like with working from the G spreadsheet is that it allows me to also plug other tools that I have kept private for now, such as stats about sold prices, bottom line of total sales minus costs and etc.

This was a interesting personal exercise for me to play with various APIs integration with G spreadsheets. I totally understand that it might easier for most non-programmers to just go with other less code-oriented methods.
