5 can’t-miss apps: ESPN, Listomatic, Hyspherical 2 and more

Each weekend, we round up a few of our favorite new and updated apps. This week’s list includes an update to ESPN’s app, a geometric puzzle game and an app to help you make Twitter lists.

Adobe brought its video editing app to Android this week. The app makes it easy to edit multiple video clips and photos and customize lighting, special effects and other elements of the videos. You can also add your own music or stock soundtracks and the app can automatically stitch your images to the music.

The latest app from Google, Arts & Culture allows you to get a closer look at famous works of art from hundreds of museums and other organizations. Filter by artist or collection and you can see 360-degree panoramic views of the art.

If you’re a sports fan, you’re likely already familiar with ESPN’s app. This week, the network gave its flagship app a major update that makes it easier for sports fans to live stream games. Now, instead of relying on the WatchESPN app, cable subscribers can get live games and sports scores, news and other updates in the same app.

Hyspeherical 2 strikes the perfect balance of simple to grasp, but difficult to master, that makes puzzle games great. The premise is simple: Get a sphere to make a single loop around each shape without hitting another sphere or obstacle. The levels start out easy enough but quickly become much more challenging.

Twitter power users know that carefully crafted lists can be the difference between a curated timeline and one that’s filled with noise. Listomatic greatly simplifies the list-making process. Connect the app to your Twitter account and the app will suggest lists based on the accounts you already follow (or help you build your own custom lists.)
