Life as a sailor, and how to continue living life as a human.

The 3 truths about sailors.

The sea is dangerous.

When something is dangerous, there is always an element of cautiousness, that is what that will keep us safe. To be aware of something that is dangerous, a heightened state of respect and safety will be naturally included to ensure your evolution out at sea will be done properly and safely. It serves as a warning to all seafarers to not be complacent when you are out at sea.

We cant change the law of nature.

As all powerful as human think they are, we cannot change the law of nature. We may have created atomic bomb or weapons to bomb each other out of existence. We cannot stop nature or forces of nature (force majeure). Erosion , typhoon , storm, flooding will happen. We can minimise the effects of nature but we cannot stop it. Gravity will still happen, but human nature is something we can change. Right?

We can make mistakes.

It’s human to make human errors. (To err is human, to forgive divine definition. All people commit sins and make mistakes. God forgives them, and people are acting in a godlike (divine) way when they forgive. This saying is from “An Essay on Criticism,” by Alexander Pope.)

But in this case, to err is human, to really screw it up is with computer (reliance).

To err is human, But knowing that you have made a mistake and not admitting or doing something about it is a cardinal sin. A recipe for disaster, human ego is something that is not needed when you really cant really tank the cut.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
