the dollar/euro is hitting record highs at the moment
Changing Dollars into Euros Two Ways

Correction: This should read “the dollar is hitting record highs,” not “dollar/euro.” As JG pointed out in the comments, the Euro hasn’t existed for 20 years yet. (It’s 17 years old.) Dollar strength at the moment varies by currency. In the last month or so, dollar/pound broke a 31-year record, dollar/yen broke a 28-year record, and the dollar index, which compares the dollar to a market basket of currencies, hit a 13-year high, and per The Telegraph, “The euro suffered its longest losing streak against the dollar since its inception in 1999 amid divergent policy expectations.” Sidebar: If you write the word “dollar” this many times it starts to look really odd.
