How Educational Inequality Contributes to Financial Insecurity

I’ve wondered whether this contributes to higher-than-median-income people feeling poor. Specifically, it seems like the advice to buy the worst house in the best neighborhood you can afford (to get access to the school district) means not only that you’re house poor, but that your kids are by definition the poorest kids among their friends. Way to set up some class anxiety.
