He also sounds like a poor manager generally, so I wondered if this was useful evidence to bring to him or just annoyed him more. Some people aren’t convinced by reason, and he seems like the sort that doesn’t like employees getting together on something. Would prefer it if they were stabbing each other in the back! So would they recommend doing something like this, take the traditional route of working with HR, or just get the hell out of there? Its an interesting anecdote about the sexism at work we all know exists — but I wondered if the writer had anything to say about solutions to that problem based on their experience.
