We make videos for people who like videos.

This means that every single video we create, we want to make it something that real people will enjoy, share, and remember. We don’t focus heavily on making videos for audience personas or focus groups, and certainly we certainly don’t follow the cookie-cutter “formula that’s guaranteed to boost your sales by 3x within the next 3 months” (that’s usually a lie, by the way).

Romshua is a production company with an appreciation for attention. It’s a very limited resource, and people deserve to have their attention put toward things that are valuable. This motivates us to make create the best content for the best brands, and get that content in front of the best people at the best time.

With this in mind we don’t think it makes sense to do what everyone else is doing, and that’s why it is important that brands try new things and push boundaries.

There’s a few things we value at Romshua, but at the every top of the list is creative empowerment. We desire to see creatives shine and give them opportunities to do what they do best (as well as getting paid for it), while brands get to tap into creative talent that is new, unique, and sometimes a little out there. Plus, when full creativity is exercised in the advertising process, the audience feels the energy and becomes creatively inspired as well. It’s really is a win-win-win.

But be warned: fake creative empowerment sticks out like a sore thumb, which is why it must be authentic. Authenticity is the backbone of Romshua. What we create & distribute is real, genuine ideas packaged in enjoyable, original, captivating stories.

In most cases, these stories are best manifested as videos, so our company puts a lot of our focus toward video production. People LOVE watching videos, and they tend to help communicate stories better than any other medium. Here are some interesting stats:

Mobile video consumption rises by 100% every year. (Insivia)

78% of people watch online videos every week, and 55% view online videos every day. (HubSpot)

Viewers retain 95% of a message when they watch it in a video, compared to 10% when reading it in text. (Insivia)

So, yes, video is important! But now more than ever, making good, unique, and captivating video is vital. Check this out:

By 2020 there will be close to 1 million minutes of video crossing the internet per second. (Cisco)

Yes, you read that right. Looking forward, there’s going to be a lot of noise online. Brands will be putting out video after video, ad after ad, and usually they will all look the same. You can not keep doing what everyone else is doing, because you will end up blending right in.

Always taking risks is the only way to keep on growing. Someone is always going to be first, it might as well be you.
