“Light”

What seas hath light traveled to be so perceived by mine eye,

To distinguish a land so remote, to inspire a mind so near.

We are but the few shores of this immense sea which few have dared to step in,

Yet light in its ancient vigor glides across the waves with unparalleled perseverance,

To reach mine eye.
