Actually, no. Because being guaranteed an income isn’t what I referenced.
Being guaranteed an income at a poverty level will push the average person to work. Because at the poverty level, you have no spare resources for any leisure activities. Without the resources to enjoy your non-working time, you have nothing to do. And having nothing to do is objectively terrible.
Given the choice of going to work, or having fuck all to do, the vast majority of people would choose work.
