Do curse because it is the right word at the right time to deliver exactly the message you want.
Dear Bad Writer, Stop Using Profanity as a Crutch
Todd Brison

So the right place was at a TESOL (it’s a teaching thing) convention and one of the seminars was on how to teach/explain/write swear words, dirty language; apply your own label. I was the only male to show up and listen to a presenter recite every term she was familiar with to me and 34 females of various ages.

It might have been due to my presence and her embarrassment or maybe it was something else, but her face became increasingly red, her breathing became faster and fell into an interesting rhythm. I was too scared to attempt to measure pupil dilation.

Yep, sometimes it is the right word at the right time.
