Swiss MIDO launched a new Navigator series commemorative long kinetic energy automatic mechanical watch. The special feature is that the dial uses a red gradient treatment, which reproduces the classic watch style of the 1860s with a retro color scheme.

The size of the watch is 40.5mm, and the case is made of stainless steel and has been mirror-polished for a shiny appearance and a pleasant texture. The crystal is made of sapphire crystal, and the classic shape is very distinctive.

The bezel is made of black aluminum alloy and uses a matte process, which contrasts sharply with the mirror-polished case shape, further enhancing the visual layering.

The striking dial is treated with a red gradient, from bright red in the center to dark red at the edges, gradually blending with the chronograph scale. The bright color adjustment, like the afterglow of the sunset, reflects the entire dial very brilliantly.

The watch follows the layout of the big three hands, and the hour markers and hour hands are covered with luminous material, which is convenient for reading in dark environments. The 3 o’clock position is the day and calendar window. The screw-down crown ensures water resistance to 200 meters.

Equipped with Mido Caliber 80 automatic mechanical movement, based on ETA C07.621 movement, swing frequency 21600vph, can provide 80 hours of power reserve. MIDO starfish is rusted on the stainless steel case back, symbolizing its professionalism in waterproofing.

It is worth mentioning that this is the first time that Mido has used a fabric-style rubber strap for the Ocean Star series, which is inspired by the iconic texture of the past. In the 1960s, this legendary rubber strap was used because of its excellent moisture resistance. , considered the first choice for divers.

As a diving watch, MIDO’s new work is excellent in both appearance and internal functions. The black and red gradient of the dial is translucent, which is undoubtedly the most eye-catching existence of the entire watch.
