Where’s the Originality?

I think part of the problem is the Internet requires speedy creation. Something new and different everyday when that’s not really conducive to great storytelling or provoking thought. Most of the stuff we read is “This happened!” instead of “Why this happened and what it means.” Damn shame, but at least there’s small slices of the Internet where deeper thought occurs.
