I have had similar thoughts. I also think it cheapens and degrades rape survivors by conveniently summing up their experience in cute lil memes and cartoons for likes and tweets. Humor is a powerful catalyst for healing, but I think this is more akin to backpatting. I highly doubt it’s changing hearts or minds, although I hope so.
