First, I am proud of you for getting an education against the odds. You are a credit to yourself, and those who loved and guided you. Your a very good writer although you failed to tell the reader what you believe the people in the Chicago war zone need.
Now, I would like to tell you about the problem I had with this.
#1 I am just as offended by the way the term, “White Woman,” is used as you are the N word. I am not stupid, blind or ignerant. I know the devistation going on in your city.
#2 I have cried and prayed for the children. The babies you wrote about specifically. I have asked God to guide his people. I truly believe it’s the love of Jesus and the fear of God that is needed.
#3 Just because 1 fool says something does not mean all white people think the same. The fact is most of us have no idea how to help. You said education. My cousin tried to teach there. She was thretaned with rap and murder. She never went back.
#4 When that Demon murdered my Christian Brothers and Sisters at Wednesday night Bible study I cried for them. I was disgusted and angry and heart broken. For years I have wished I could go there just to love them. Do you know that in 2016 almost 100,000 Christian’s we’re slaughtered. That night the excuse might have been color but Satin was in that room and all he saw was Christians.
You are loved. I am the bold outspoken one. I ask questions. I spent time in my 20s with a friend from Compton. I learned to open my mind. Granny was a wonderful person. I loved to hear her talk. My friend spent time with my family too. It opened up a line of communication across a boundary. What we need is a line of communication. It goes both ways. Maybe California is different but spread the word. There are white people praying for the children and the innocent of Chicago. God bless you.
