My 2017 Oscar Predictions

It is upon us. As the awards season draws to a close, we are left with the grand daddy of them all, the Academy Awards (or, as they’re more popularly known, The Oscars). 2016 wasn’t a great year for blockbusters with duds such as Batman V. Superman and Suicide Squad. But while those fell, indie darlings were allowed to shine. Of course I wished some had received more attention like the spectacular American Honey and thought others maybe received more attention than they deserved like Swiss Army Man.

Despite all that, I’m excited for Sunday night’s festivities and to see a lot of really amazing movies come away with some shiny hardware. Listed below you will find my predictions italicized. The actual winners will later be emboldened.
