Logos Are The Language of Graphics-Oriented

Logos are powerful and a bonanza for businesses. People gravitate to logos that speak of trust in a company.

The origins of logos date back to ancient Egyptians, who used hieroglyphics to identify their power and possessions.

Fast forward to today, where logos are used for visual identification so that customers can recognize your brand instantly. Customers visually associate your logo with your brand. A business without a logo misses countless opportunities to build a successful business.

Paul Rand is called the ‘Father of Logos,” and for good reason. He was born in New York City 1914. He was an American art director and graphic designer and became a professor emeritus at Yale University. He practiced the Swiss graphic design style and was a pioneer of iconic corporate logos.

Some of the most famous corporate logos he designed include IBM, UPS, ENRON, ABC, and NeXT.
