Fake lashes are taking the world by storm. But more and more people are getting tired of glueing it on their natural lashes every day. Also, it takes money and time to find solid natural looking ones. That’s why semi-permanent eyelash extensions started to attract public attention. You don’t need to do it by yourself, professional will do it for you and make it look natural and beautiful. These extensions feel comfortable and can last up to eight weeks. You don’t need help for taking them off, they will fall naturally when the time comes.

The Right Way to Care About Semi-Permanent Eyelash Extensions.

You just walked out the salon and have your pretty semi-permanent eyelash extensions on. Professionals always give you all the needed information about hygiene so your extensions will make you happy for the longest time possible. But many people tend to ignore these rules and stick to their daily cleansing routine.

The first important rule is to avoid water on your semi-permanent eyelash extensions for the first 24 hours. If you will make extensions wet on the first day it will make them fall off way faster. Another strict rule is not to use waterproof mascara at all. Waterproof is really hard to take off so you will need to use powerful cleansers that also make extensions short-living.

You will need to change a lot about your washing routine if you are want to wear semi-permanent eyelashes. Oil-based cleansers are no-go. The oil will destroy the glue and lashes will fall off in no time. But oil-based washing products loved by so many women. It is understandable because water-based cleaners are not so strong. So what alternatives do you have?

An effective tip as a little trick, that includes baby shampoo. When washing your eyelash extensions, be sure to use warm water only. Add a tiny bit of baby shampoo (just a few drops) and start wiping your lash line with the cotton bud. Baby shampoo is a good bacteria remover. Specialists recommend to do it every day, but we understand that some women are to busy. 3 times a week also will do. This little trick is not only to make your lashes clean and fresh but also a good preventive measure to avoid any health problems with your eyelashes in the future. It will also make your semi-permanent lashes look the best they can.

It is important to give your lash extension a good brush. Do it using your regular mascara brush at least one time a day. By doing that you will make sure that there is no dirt sitting in between the lashes. You need to wash your extensions at least twice a week with Lash and Lid Foaming Cleanser.

Other than waterproof mascara and oil-based cleansers, it is better to avoid using liquid eye-liner. While showering, make sure that the shower-head is not pointed directly at your face. Another good recommendation is not to sleep on your face — for some people this is the hardest one to do.

Better to avoid anything that can include hot water or steam, so make sure you are not planning to go to the sauna this month. Jacuzzi or tanning is completely safe, so don’t worry about that. But if you are a hot yoga lover I have bad news for you.

How to search for a good salon with a trustworthy professional?

You should always remember that your eye area is the most sensitive area on your face. Everything that touches that area should be top quality and very gentle. It is crucial to find a good professional that will provide you with the best service possible. Of course, certification is an obvious thing to look at when searching for a specialist. Other than that it will be helpful to take a look at the portfolio of his works.

Before going to the salon try to find as much information as possible. Reviews from the previous customers about the professional can change your mind very quickly so make sure to read them too. Pay attention to how long the specialist has been working as a semi-permanent eyelash technician. It is better to choose the most experienced professional. If you already in the salon and ready to start treatment, but something feels weird to you, don’t be afraid to quit. It is better to lose money than your health.

I am a semi-permanent eyelash extensions technician myself. I learned everything I know today at the School Ecole. I highly recommend this institution to everyone, who wants to become a part of the beauty industry someday.
