I dunno, I guess that just seems really unlikely to me and it’s a risk I’m willing to take. I vet guests pretty thoroughly—I’ll reject anyone who doesn’t already have positive reviews from other hosts, multiple verifications, and I exchange messages with them ahead of time to make sure they aren’t sketchy. Mostly we host young couples with kids who are visiting family in the area. I’ve used Airbnb myself a lot as a traveler for years, so I just have a comfort level with it.
