I mean to be fair, that True Scotsman fallacy at the end of your argument really tore down what you were trying to say. They live in America. They are Americans. If we, as Americans, denounce vile and depraved viewpoints by saying “well they aren’t REALLY one of us” we never have to find a solution or analyze how it got to this point. Viewpoints like those of the alt-right are part of the fabric of America, they ARE American. The country was founded on the backs of slaves, they aren’t wrong in saying America was founded with racist ideology. You forget that when “all men were created equal” was written, white folks didn’t consider a black man a whole person. So no, you are wrong. They ARE American. And we HAVE to acknowledge that. Period.
