A heart that hides.

As the breeze sways and flows, it jumps in joy like a kid’s glow.
It wants to run and run away, fast and then slow.
When the orange sun sets in the horizon,it stays mesmerized and smiles and grows.
The rain makes it sad, the mist makes it feel alone,
But still it longs for the day it learns to dance to the music of the rain patting on the floor.

It’s just an old soul that loves books and written notes,
That loves the sound of laughter and the music that makes you want to float.
But if you show affection, it runs for cover
Cause it feels the hidden pain and all those long time it got troubled.

You will never see a love so deeply felt like it does,
Even though it never speaks but trembles just at it’s thoughts.
How will you ever love a heart that only knows how to hide?
It’s filled with scars, fears, insecurities and pride.

“You’ll be okay” consoles the soul to the heart,
“You’re a fighter that doesn’t know of hate and bitter starts.”
“Let’s just build a wall so tall and strong that neither of us gets wronged” begs the heart.
If you ever knew why all the darts, fire and storms,
Look closely and it might just let you be a part.

Everytime it feels people’s affection,it smiles with joy,
But then backs away, sheds tears and oh dear the fears.
If they could see how it smiles at people madly in love,
Nobody would ever believe that it’s the heart that hides and not love.
